What’s in a name? part 2

A day when we are all proud to be British. There is no doubt that the British are number one when it comes to pageantry. As a wedding planner you would think that a wedding is a wedding is a wedding but no…. all weddings are special and all weddings cause me to shed a tear and today was no different. I loved every minute of it and not even the arrival of a brand new kitchen appliance borne by three strapping men could tear me from the television. But what is in a name? Well, as alluded to in part one of the same name Prince William has been honoured by the Queen with a few extra ones to go along with HRH Prince William Arthur Phillip Louis Mountbatten-Windsor. These are The Duke of Cambridge, the Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus. His new Bride will be known as  HRH Catherine Elizabeth Mountbatten-Windsor the Duchess of Cambridge. The Countess of Strathearn and the Baroness Carrickfergus. Wow! I only have three names and sometimes have trouble remembering them, if I were either of the royal couple I would stick to “darling”!!!
